Digitally sending Bank Statements

When we receive your information at the end of the financial year, together with the questionnaire we also require the Bank statements for your accounts to be sent to us.

If your bank account is linked to Xero or MYOB and has current bank feeds, the requirement has not changed.  We only require a copy of the bank statement showing the balance at the year end.

In most cases, there is now a way of getting your bank statements to us electronically instead of having to print them off, scan them or copy them into a PDF.

Here is how to do it:

Log into your banking account

  • Open the account from which you want to send the bank statement.
  • Choose ‘export’ (at the top)

A pop up will show options:

  • Format – choose a ‘QIF file
  • Period – is the beginning of your financial year to the end of the financial year (in most instances 01/04/2024-31/03/2025).
  • Click on ‘export’

This will create a QIF file which will now be in the ‘download’ folder on your computer.

Next open an email to us at KTS.

  • Choose ‘insert’ then ‘attach file’
  • Go to your downloads file and choose the QIF file that you have just created.
  • Enter your name etc and any message and send.
