Tony Forlong

PRINCIPAL & CEO


Tony is the Managing Director and owner of KTS.

He has 2 children, Kyle, the oldest who has completed his Architectural degree and works in Sydney, and Elyse his daughter who has completed her Arts degree and works in Japan.
Tony is married to Jenny, her son Morgan has completed his degree at University in Dunedin studying Science and now is working at the University in Dunedin.

Jenny and Tony live locally on a lifestyle block in the Kumeu/Huapai district, complete with horse’s cows, chickens, dogs and cats, which keep them very busy.

Tony is involved in many aspects of local community life which he believes is very important to him and to KTS. This includes Rotary, and he is also the chairman of the Board of North West Country (previously called BID) which is a council initiative to promote local business.

He is passionate about KTS and proud of his staff, together they strive to give all clients their absolute best service at all times.

Anthony Simpson

MANAGER OF ACCOUNTING SERVICES


Anthony is an important part of the management and character of the Company and has worked for KTS since 2008.

Anthony is a senior accountant, and as well as working with his own clients, he is also responsible for the management of compliance issues, which is an important and essential role.

Together with his partner Vanessa and young son James, Anthony lives locally in the area of Kumeu, so he has a good knowledge of the district which is a great asset to Clients and within the Company.

Karl Hazewinkel

ACCOUNTING SERVICES


Karl joined the staff of KTS in 2016 as an experienced Chartered Accountant, having owned his own CA practice in Kerikeri for over 14 years.

He has accounting experience with Companies, Partnerships, Sole traders, Trusts, Incorporated societies, and Charities.
Karl lives in Auckland city and his interests include Golf, Sailing, and Music.

Karl is a Senior Accountant in our team at KTS, and his experience adds depth to the services that we offer to our Clients

Tanya Hay

ACCOUNTING SERVICES


Tanya has worked as part of our team at KTS since 2014, her main areas of responsibility are:

  • Doing the GST for the clients that use KTS for their GST.
  • Responsibility for MYOB, Banklink and Xero accounting packages, setting them up and administering them.
  • Dealing with Creditors and general office responsibilities.

Tanya was born in South Africa and lived in Vancouver Canada for 14 years before coming to New Zealand in 2012.

She is married to Clint changing her surname from Van Eyden to Hay, and they live on the North Shore.

One of her great interests is cats, she also loves animals and wishes she lived on a farm. Cooking and travel are also her passions.

Debra Green

ACCOUNTING SERVICES


Debra has worked for KTS since June 2011, her main responsibilities are the preparation of accounts, financial statements, and tax returns.
She and her husband Mark have a son Carter who was born in 2012 and they live on a 5½ acre block, where they raise some livestock, and are the proud owners of 3 dogs.
Debra’s passions are running & playing touch rugby, combined with her commitment to her family.

Tokoiva Metua

ACCOUNTING SERVICES


Toko started at KTS in 2014 and deals with customers on a day-by-day basis preparing financial statements.

Toko is the youngest of 9 siblings and now lives with his partner Tiria and daughter Karamea in Kingsland.

Toko’s interests are music, cooking and sports, especially Rugby League, his favourite league team was the Warriors and when they start winning, they will be his favourite team again! He is still waiting.

Beth Stapleton

ACCOUNTING SERVICES


Beth’s role at KTS involves preparing clients’ accounts, doing financial statements and tax returns, and generally dealing with clients on a day-by-day basis, she has worked at KTS as an accountant since 2012.

She is married to Peter and has 2 sons who both live at home.

Her great interest is sewing, making a lot of her own clothes, and also making costumes for productions, the latter of which keeps her very occupied.

Beth and Peter have their own boat and love going fishing on the Manukau, cooking is also an interest of Beth’s when she has the time, especially cooking the fish and shellfish they have caught

Anecia Nel

ACCOUNTING SERVICES


Anecia is an experienced BAS Accountant with thirty years’ accounting experience in a wide range of small, medium and large businesses, Partnerships, Sole traders and Trusts. She also did contract work for KTS in 2013.

Anecia has been married to her husband Andre since 1985, and they have a daughter and a son. The family immigrated to New Zealand in 2005, became citizens in 2010, and have lived in Albany since 2006.

She loves sewing and making clothes for herself and her family. The other love that she has is quilting as this is very relaxing and provides lots of satisfaction when you finish a quilt. With her family, she enjoys New Zealand winters and skiing at Mt Ruapehu.

Jane Harraway

PRACTICE MANAGER


Jane has worked for KTS since 2010 as an accountant, preparing clients’ accounts, doing financial statements and tax returns, and is valued as a very competent and reliable staff member.

Jane is replacing Janell at the front desk and is also moving into the role of Practice Manager. Because she is an Accountant she will have a good understanding of all the Clients’ needs and the best ways of handling them.
Your first port of call at KTS will be Jane, she will either be able to answer all your queries or will direct you to the best Accountant on our Team that can help you.
As Practice Manager she will be responsible for the efficient management of the Company, If you wish to make an appointment with Tony, please go through Jane.

Jane and her husband Paul live in the Rodney area and they share their home with 5 cats and 2 dogs, which keep them busy.
Her other interests include a love of animals, building Lego and dining out.

Vanessa Pocock

ADMINISTRATION


Vanessa joined KTS in May 2017 after working for 10 years as a Retail Accountant in the Travel Industry in the areas of credit control, management accounting, and auditing.

She is working part-time four days a week as Administrator assisting Tony and Jane.

Vanessa has lived in the area for 5 years with her partner Anthony and 5-year-old son James.

Outside of work, Vanessa has just passed her Bachelor in Accountancy at Massey University and is enjoying spending time on toddler activities with James.

Lilian Kyle

GRAPHICS & MEDIA


Lilian works with KTS in the role of Graphics and Media.

Her main responsibilities include the design and updating of the KTS website, designing and sending out of the newsletters, and the sending out of Facebook Posts to the Clients to keep them up to date with any changes or information.

Another responsibility is in the marketing role, which involves sending out advertisements to all the local community Facebook pages to inform people about the services that KTS can offer. 

Lilian works mainly off-site in her Office in Hobsonville Auckland.
