When to Apply?
Applications can be made between 1 and 14 October 2021 for the COVID-19 Wage Subsidy August 2021 #4 using MSD’s online application form.

Revenue Decline Test – 40%:
Your business has had, or you predict will have, a decline in revenue that can be attributed to the effect the continuation of Alert Levels 3 and 4 from 17 August 2021 has had on your business, and that is:
- A person is eligible for the subsidy if the person experienced a minimum 40% decline in revenue between 28th September 2021 and 11 October 2021. Compared to a typical 14 consecutive days of revenue in the 6 weeks immediately before the move to Alert L4 on 17th August 2021.

Payment Rates:
The Wage Subsidy August 2021 will cover a two-week period at the rate of:
- $600 a week for each full-time employee retained (20 hours a week or more)
- $359 a week for each part-time employee retained (less than 20 hours a week).
