Hello to all our KTS Clients,
This is the last update from KTS for the year 2024.
This has been a challenging year for our business clients, with a change of Government and all the adjustments required surrounding that, to the uncertain financial climate both in NZ and around the world.
However, most of us have made it, so here’s to a more positive and successful year next year in 2025.
I am sure most of us will be looking forward to the Christmas and New Year break for a bit of time out and an opportunity to relax, replenish the energy tanks and get fresh enthusiasm for our businesses and projects in the coming year ahead.
We wish all our clients a restful, relaxing and replenishing break over the festive season.
Many Clients may be unaware that KTS also has a Facebook page.
On the KTS page we post information that we feel is important to our Clients – items like:
- When an update has gone out so Clients can access the updates on their devices and also
- Reminders about GST and other taxes due.
- Important information about your accounts
We don’t post very frequently on Facebook so you won’t be inundated with messages from us.

Taxes due 15th January 2025
It’s a good idea to plan ahead and be prepared for taxes due early next year.
On the 15th of January 2025 two lots of taxes are due.
- The 2nd provisional tax for 2025
- GST for the period ended 30th November 2024.
For all the clients that we do GST returns and provisional tax for, please get your information to us before the 20th of December when we close for the year.
If you don’t, we will only have 2 days from when we open again on the 13th of January to complete your returns, and we don’t want to be late which could incur charges.
Please get your information to us in the next few weeks.

We close for Christmas at 12 noon on the 20th December 2024
Opening for the year 2025
We open for the new year at 8.30am on the 13th January 2025.
