This is an important message to those of our Clients who are using MYOB Accounting.

By the 28 February if you are using MYOB and you are a BNZ customer you must reconnect your MYOB to BNZ or your bank feeds will stop.

If you don’t reconnect to the BNZ by the 28 February, no more transactions will come in from the Bank to your MYOB, which means you will be disconnected from the Bank and be unable to use your system.

What do you need to do?

Firstly you will need to login to your MYOB account.

At the top of the MYOB site  there will be a red bar telling you that you need to reconnect your BNZ accounts, simply click on to this connection and follow the instructions.

Its a good idea to do this straight away and not wait until the 28th February.

There is another Option, you could change to Xero

As you may know, KTS, has recently made the change from MYOB to Xero for the operating system within the practice.

A number of our Clients are also changing to Xero, which enables us to move to a more on-line system, including the filing of income tax returns, receipt of financial statements and electronic signing of both income tax returns and financial statements.

If you are an MYOB Client and wish to change to Xero

This is the ideal time to do it, as it will require the same process to set up Xero as to make the bank changes in MYOB.

What do you need to do to change?

If you are an MYOB client and are interested in a shift to Xero, please contact us for an invite from KTS to the Xero system.

Simply send an email to Jasmine (details below) to let her know you wish to change. We will then send you an invite to Xero, just click on the link in the invite, and follow the instructions. KTS will pay your subscription cost if you decide to join Xero.

KTS can then pull all your existing data out of MYOB so that we will have a full years transactions in Xero for us to do the 2025 Accounts directly connected to us.

This option is also available to other MYOB people who do not use the BNZ but other Banks.
