Hi to our Clients,

Since our last update, a lot of changes have occurred in our Country.

As we all know, the traffic light system starts on the 3rd of December and with that there will be many more changes to adjust to.

This update will let our Clients know what the arrangements are for the KTS office, and also includes information on tax, the traffic light system, and other requirements for business.

INFORMATION FOR CLIENTS FROM THE KTS OFFICE

TAX NOTICES

We will be sending out the notices for the 2nd Instalment of 2022 provisional tax notices from the 6th December.

This tax is due to be paid on the 15th January 2022.

GST will also be due on the the 15th January, Tanya will be sending these notices to clients as she completes them.

If you do not receive the tax notices, please let us know, we may have your email address wrong.

KTS OFFICE ARRANGEMENTS

From the 6th December, after Auckland has entered the red light regulations on the 3rd December, we will be re-opening the KTS office.

The office will be open from 10am – 2pm from Monday to Thursday , with Vanessa being at the office on Monday/Wednesday and Jane on Tuesday/Thursday.

This will mean that Clients can pick-up or drop-off any records.
If you are picking up or dropping off documents, can you please give the office a ring beforehand so that we know you are coming.

Pick-ups and drop-offs will be contactless for the time being, there will be a sign on the door with instructions.

The rest of our team will be working from home as usual.

CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR HOLIDAY BREAK

We are closing for the Christmas/New year’s break on Thursday the 23rd of December at the end of the business day.

We are re-opening on Monday the 10th of January 2022 at 9am.

2021 has been a very difficult year for everyone especially Business.

For some of us, this Christmas and New Year can’t come soon enough, here’s hoping for a better year in 2022!

GET YOUR WORK TO US !

We need our Clients to get their information for the year ended the 31st March 2020 to the 1st April 2021 to us as soon as possible so that we can complete your end of year accounts.

From the 6th of December you will be able to drop it off at the KTS office if needed.

In order for us to complete your end of year accounts by the deadline of 31st March 2022, we need to receive them at least 3/4 weeks before our closing date of the 22nd December.

We will get very busy over this time, so it’s a good idea to get your records to us as soon as possible

As most of our Clients will already know, we move to the traffic light system at 11.59 pm on Thursday 2nd December 2021.

FAST Covid-19 TESTS AVAILABLE FOR BUSINESSES

Rapid antigen tests are an option for businesses in their response to COVID-19.

They’re not mandatory and won’t be suitable for everyone.

From 1 December, businesses who want to use rapid antigen testing at their workplaces will be able to buy them directly from authorised suppliers.

CHECKING CUSTOMERS PROOF OF VACCINATION

Businesses can choose whether to require customers to have My Vaccine Passes as a condition of entry.

For some businesses, this decision will affect the rules they must operate under.
