Hi to all our Clients,
Going in and out of lockdowns is a very financially difficult and frustrating time for businesses, especially for those who can’t physically open at level 3.
In order to support and advise our clients as much as possible during this time, we are regularly updating our website with all the information our clients will need to know.
Please feel free to call or email us if you require further assistance.
We also send updates out between our monthly newsletters via Facebook, they include tax reminders and other important notices.
If you would like to receive the Facebook updates, (and don’t worry we don’t send them too often!)
Go to our Facebook page and click on ‘like’ – that will ensure you receive them. They are also on our website under the tab ‘facebook’
And life goes on – the end of the financial year is near:
We are now in the final month before the end of the financial year on the 31st March 2021.
If you haven’t got your records to us to enable us to complete your financial statements, we suggest you do that post-haste.
Don’t forget to also fill out the questionnaire which is a requirement from IRD for us to complete your accounts, which is on the KTS website.
You can print it out, sign and bring with your accounts, you can submit it to us directly or email it to us. All instructions are on the page.
Updates for Businesses
A lot of new information for businesses has become available in the last few weeks that we feel is important for our Clients.
We are keeping our website up to date with this information, we trust you will find it informative and helpful.
Cartel criminalisation
You may wonder what a cartel is and what it has to do with businesses in NZ.
A cartel is where two or more businesses agree not to compete with each other. It can take many forms, including price fixing, allocating markets, rigging bids or restricting output of goods and services, and it’s more common than you would think.
There is a new law coming into effect on the 8th April against all forms of cartel dealing in business which brings with it some pretty severe consequences.
