BNZ is changing the way it’s Xero bank feeds work, making setup simpler and improving access to transactional data.

As a result, your current BNZ feeds will need to be reconnected to your Xero subscription before the 14th August 2023 to continue working

To reconnect, follow these instructions:

  • From the Xero dashboard, select Accounting (in the navigational bar) > Bank Accounts > Manage Account > Update Bank Connection.
  • Select the bank account in Xero you want to connect with your BNZ account.
  • Check the import start date for each bank account. Ensure that your start date is changed to the date of your last transaction in Xero.
  • Repeat for each of your BNZ Accounts
  • Click Finish

Xero will then update your accounts and you’ll be redirected to your organisation dashboard.

If you have bank rules set up, you might need to edit the bank rules to match the new details

Before you start, ensure you have your internet login details to hand to complete this process.
